Today is the publication day for Grow Curious: A Journal to Cultivate Wonder in Your Garden and Beyond.
This book is not simply a journal with nice ideas and pretty pictures. It is a treatise on how to cultivate relationship, connection and belonging with plants, land, nature, and ourselves.
It’s about looking to the garden as a place of knowledge, insight, and creative inspiration, but I included the word “beyond” in the title because not everyone has access to a garden of their own and I was mindful of this reality in the activities and prompts.
The book is published by Chronicle Books. Special thanks to Davin Risk who was not just the illustrator and designer, but my collaborator in gardening and exploring nature for nearly 3 decades.
